Guarantee

If your products arrive in a defective condition. Notify us within 24 hours.  This warranty does not cover damage caused by your accidents, negligence, or improper care.

Colours

We will not accept responsibility or liability for any colour variations and/or irregularities of your products which are caused as a result of artwork not complying with our design guide and product specifications.

Design

You must check your design carefully against the product specifications prior to submitting your order. We do not check for compliance or typos.

Conversion

If you don’t submit your design in CMYK colour profile, we will be entitled to convert the artwork to ensure it complies with our requirements.

Orders

Your order is considered accepted only when you receive a confirmation email that the design is being printed. We reserve the right to refuse orders if the design contains obscene, offensive, pornographic, fascist or radical content.

Delivery

All custom orders are delivered within 1‑20 working days. Our turnaround time starts only when you receive a confirmation email that the artwork has been accepted.

Privacy

Use of your information

We may use your personal information for orders status notifications, customer support, order delivery and periodically for promotional or informational content.

Links to other sites

We may from time to time link to third-parties sites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices and performance of those sites.

Your personal information

We collect personally identifiable information – such as names, postal addresses, email addresses, etc. – only when voluntarily submitted by you.

Cookies and log information

We issue cookies to identify users; however, these do not contain personal information. You can disable these cookies by altering the settings of your browser.

Your email address

We enforce a strict anti-spam policy which means we will not sell, share, or otherwise give your e-mail address to a third-party.

Your payment information

We do not complete or store online transactions on our website. Transactions are completed by Spreadshirt and other partners which uses a combination of highly secured automated and manual fraud systems to protect you.

At TeesYYouWant, we partner with Spreadshop to fulfill all orders for journals and custom merchandise. We are committed to your satisfaction and want to ensure you have a positive experience with every purchase.

Custom Products

Please note that all journals and merchandise are made-to-order and customized specifically for you. Due to the personalized nature of these products, we have the following policies in place.

Eligibility for Refunds

We offer refunds or replacements in the following circumstances:

Defective Products

If your item arrives with manufacturing defects, printing errors, or damage, we will provide a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

Wrong Item Received

If you receive an item that differs from what you ordered (wrong design, wrong product type, wrong size, etc.), we will send you the correct item or issue a full refund.

Shipping Damage

If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, we will work with you to provide a replacement or refund.

Non-Refundable Situations

Due to the custom nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds for:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse

  • Incorrect size or color selected by the customer

  • Minor variations in color due to different screen displays

  • Delay in delivery caused by incorrect shipping address provided by customer

  • Items that have been used or washed

How to Request a Refund

If you believe your order qualifies for a refund or replacement, please:

  1. Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order

  2. Provide your order number and clear photos showing the issue

  3. Describe the problem in detail

We will review your request promptly and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Processing Time

Once your refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days

  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method

  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account

Replacement Orders

If we send a replacement item:

  • There will be no additional charge to you

  • We will process and ship the replacement as quickly as possible

  • You will receive tracking information once the item ships

At Teesyyouwant LTD, we're committed to delivering exceptional book cover designs that exceed your expectations. We understand that investing in your book is a significant decision, and we want you to feel confident in working with us.

Digital Products & Services Coverage

This refund policy applies to all our digital products and services, including:

  • Custom book cover designs

  • Pre-made cover designs

  • Design templates

  • Graphic design services

  • Brand identity packages

Refund Eligibility

You May Be Eligible for a Full Refund If:

1. Technical Issues

  • Files are corrupted or cannot be opened despite multiple delivery attempts

  • Files do not match the specifications agreed upon in the contract (wrong dimensions, format, or resolution)

  • We fail to deliver files within the agreed timeline without prior communication

2. Service Non-Delivery

  • We fail to provide the service after payment has been received

  • We are unable to start or complete your project due to circumstances on our end

3. Major Quality Issues

  • The delivered design significantly deviates from the approved concept without authorization

  • The final files contain major technical errors that render them unusable (e.g., pixelation, color shifts, missing elements)

Refund Request Timeline:

  • Claims must be submitted within 14 days of final file delivery

  • Claims must include specific details and supporting evidence (screenshots, error messages, etc.)

Non-Refundable Circumstances

We Cannot Offer Refunds When:

1. Change of Mind

  • You no longer wish to use the design after approval and delivery

  • You've decided to go in a different creative direction

  • You're unhappy with design elements you previously approved

2. Subjective Preferences

  • You don't like the style, colors, or aesthetics after approving the design

  • The design doesn't perform as expected in sales (design effectiveness is subjective)

  • You received feedback from others that you disagree with

3. Project Abandonment

  • You stop responding to communication during the design process

  • You decide not to publish your book after receiving the design

  • You fail to provide necessary information or feedback for project completion

4. After Approval & Delivery

  • You've approved final designs and received all deliverable files

  • Files have been downloaded or accessed

  • You've used the design publicly (published, posted, or distributed)

5. Third-Party Issues

  • Printer quality issues (these should be addressed with your printer)

  • Platform upload issues (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, etc.)

  • Issues arising from unauthorized modifications to our files

Partial Refund Situations

We may offer partial refunds in the following cases:

1. Project Cancellation Mid-Process

  • If you cancel after initial concepts are delivered but before final approval: 50% refund

  • If you cancel after revisions begin: 25% refund

  • No refund if project is canceled after final approval

2. Minor Technical Issues

  • If we can resolve the issue with corrections within 7 days: No refund, issue resolution only

  • If corrections take longer than 7 days: 25-50% refund at our discretion

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund, please follow these steps:

1. Contact Us

  • Through our form

  • Subject Line: "Refund Request - [Project Name/Invoice Number]"

2. Provide Details

  • Your full name and contact information

  • Invoice or contract number

  • Detailed explanation of the issue

  • Supporting evidence (screenshots, error messages, file samples)

  • Your desired resolution

3. Review Process

  • We will respond within 3 business days

  • We may request additional information or offer to resolve the issue

  • Refund decisions will be communicated within 7 business days of initial request

Refund Processing

Approved Refunds Will Be Processed As Follows:

  • Payment Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Processing Time: 7-14 business days from approval

  • Bank Transfer: Allow 3-5 additional business days for bank processing

  • Transaction Fees: Non-refundable payment processing fees may be deducted (typically 1.5-3%)

Alternative Resolutions

Before requesting a refund, consider these options:

1. Revisions

  • If you're unhappy during the design process, unlimited revisions are included

  • Clear communication often resolves concerns without refunds

2. File Format Changes

  • Need different file formats? We'll provide them at no extra charge

3. Technical Support

  • Having trouble with files? We offer technical support to resolve issues

4. Design Adjustments

  • Minor adjustments after delivery may be available for a small fee

Royalty-Share Package Specific Terms

For clients on our Launch Partner or Success-Share packages:

Upfront Payment Refunds:

  • Upfront payments follow the standard refund policy above

  • Refunds only apply to the upfront portion, not future royalties

Mid-Contract Cancellation:

  • If you cancel before publication, the agreement converts to flat-fee pricing

  • Any shortfall between royalties paid and standard rates becomes due

  • No refunds on royalties already paid

File Delivery Issues:

  • Standard refund policy applies to technical delivery issues

  • Royalty obligations remain unless service was not provided

Dispute Resolution

If we cannot reach an agreement on your refund request:

  1. We encourage open communication to find a mutually acceptable solution

  2. You may escalate the matter through formal dispute resolution

  3. All disputes are governed by Nigerian law and resolved in the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Exceptions & Goodwill

While we stand by this policy, we also value long-term relationships with our clients. In exceptional circumstances, we may offer goodwill refunds or credits at our discretion, even when not required by this policy.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Existing projects are governed by the policy in effect at the time of contract signing.
